Inside Out 3: Plans Revealed by Pixar Executive

Inside Out 2 has been a huge success for Pixar, with the film breaking box office records and delighting both audiences and critics. The film’s massive success has already led some to wonder what a third Inside Out movie might look like, and while IInside Out 3 The film has not yet been officially announced, said Pete Docter, Pixar’s executive director. Fandango that they’re “brainstorming ideas” about where a third film could go – and that they have plenty to explore and play with.

“We are in the same place where we were after (Upside down), Docter said. “We thought, ‘Well, if we were going to do something, what would it be?’ And we’re brainstorming ideas. Who knows?”

He then explained that the ideas of the two Upside down And Inside Out 2 could make their way into a potential Inside Out 3, talking about how when he made the first film, he felt like there was a big world to work with and they only saw a part of it.

“I would like it to feel like we’ve only seen 3 percent of this big world and the rest is still there,” Docter said. “So there’s a lot to explore, a lot of things that we played with in the first or second movie that didn’t work for story reasons, didn’t fit thematically, so we have a lot to play with.”

Earlier this month, Iger was interviewed by Hello America about the possibility of Inside Out 3 become a reality and although he hasn’t announced anything, he made it clear that he would “love” to see the film made and then said, “I’ll leave it at that.”
