Nottingham Forest’s persistence pleases Target as club considers bid

Nottingham Forest have given Santiago Gimenez a good feeling due to their persistence in chasing his signature, with a new offer now underway.

With a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah no longer on the agenda at the City Ground, Nottingham Forest are focusing heavily on Feyenoord forward Gimenez.

They have made a new offer for Gimenez, worth 33 million euros, and hope it will do the trick.

According to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Feyenoord did not immediately reject the offer and is considering it.

This seems to indicate that the offer is close to the sum sought by Feyenoord.

Gimenez was also quoted as saying he was not keen on joining Forest, but he now appears to have changed his mind.

The persistence of the City Ground team in pursuing him has given him a good feeling about a possible transfer.

Gimenez knows that if he joins Nottingham Forest he will earn a hefty salary of almost £5m a year.
