Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Get Caught in Rare Public Display of Affection During Family Outing

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden may be one of Hollywood’s most private couples, but it seems like they’re still as in love as ever, even if they’re not the type to flaunt their relationship.

The couple was out and about in Montecito, California, on Monday, and cameras caught them stopping to share a rare moment of public affection after leaving a restaurant. Diaz, 51, and Madden, 45, happily shared a kiss on the street while proudly holding their newborn son’s stroller.

In photos obtained by Page Six, What’s happening in Vegas The actress looked casual in a green cardigan, her hair tied back in a ponytail and thick-rimmed glasses while holding a toy for her young son, Cardinal. The Good Charlotte guitarist matched his wife in an all-black outfit with a green cap as he pushed their son’s stroller.

Diaz and Madden tied the knot in 2015 after less than a year of dating and welcomed daughter Raddix — via surrogate — in January 2020. In March, they surprised fans again with the announcement of the birth of their second child.

“We are so happy and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is amazing and we are all so happy he is here!” they wrote in a joint Instagram post at the time.

“For the safety and privacy of the children, we will not publish any photos, but he is really cute.”

At the time, sources familiar with the matter revealed that the couple had been hoping to expand their family for some time before having a child with the cardinal through a surrogate.

“They always hoped to have a second child because they love being parents,” a source close to the couple said. “Cameron wanted to be a mother for years. She gets very emotional when she talks about the long road to motherhood. She feels incredibly lucky to now have two children.”
