Cafe 11 Brings Hong Kong-Inspired Cuisine to Katy

Hong Kong-inspired Cafe 11 has opened on Colonial Parkway, the owners confirmed.

The essentials

The restaurant was originally scheduled to open in May, but owner Kwong Ip said it has faced various delays.

Ip and his business partner Terry Cheuk, who will be the restaurant’s chef, both grew up in Hong Kong before meeting in New Orleans, Ip said.

On the menu

The menu is centered around signature dishes served in skillets, which contain a protein with sauce poured at the table, Ip said. Other items on the menu include various curries and soups.

Additionally, customers can choose from their favorite baked dishes, including:

• Portuguese Baked Chicken with diced potatoes, homemade sauce and melted cheese
• Oven Grilled Chicken with tomato sauce and melted cheese
• Baked Pork Chops with tomato sauce and melted cheese
• Baked Seafood with cream sauce and melted cheese

Guests can also indulge in sweet treats such as matcha chocolate fondant cake.
