Woman in critical condition after hit-and-run in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZ family) — A woman is hospitalized after being hit by a car in Phoenix Sunday morning, and police are searching for the driver involved.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. near 31st and Dunlap avenues. Officers arrived on scene and found a woman in the roadway. She was taken to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Investigators believe the woman was struck by a driver who left the scene after the collision. No information about the suspect or vehicle is available at this time.
