Zuri Hall Details the Dress She Designed for the Red Carpet

It’s a very special night at the 2024 Emmy Awards for Zuri Room.

While the Access Hollywood The host has already covered the Emmys red carpet, wearing a custom gown she designed to the September 15 ceremony.

“I’ve always wanted to design my own dress for awards season one day!” she told E! News ahead of the red carpet. “I’ve been fortunate enough to work in Hollywood for almost a decade now…and develop a strong personal style. So I know what I like and what works for long days like this.”

“You have to bring glamour, but it has to be practical and functional,” Hall says. Live from E!: Countdown to the Emmys co-host, explained: “I prefer dresses that you don’t have to worry too much about. Once I’m in it, I’m in it!”

For this momentous occasion, Hall collaborated with his stylist and friend Roberto Cardenaz.

And the story behind the dress? “I knew I wanted my first design to perfectly represent my quintessential red carpet style: effortless elegance with a twist,” she told E!. “My favorite color palette is rich, warm neutrals: ivory, camel, chocolate. I felt like the brown silk in this design was perfect as we approach fall.”
