Security Supervisor Brutally Murdered, Head Slashed in Lodha Amara in Kaburbawdi; Investigation Underway

Thane: A brutal murder took place in Thane’s posh Lodha Amara area where a security official was killed. The crime took place on Monday, according to reports.

The Lodha complex where the murder took place is located at Kolshet Road in Kaburbawdi in Thane city. According to the information received so far, the senior police inspector of Kaburbawdi police station and the Thane crime branch team have reached the spot and investigations are underway.

The images of the brutal murder have surfaced on the internet, creating fear among the residents of the posh locality of Lodha Amara. The image shows that the body was found on the terrace of one of the buildings in Lodha Amara with its head cut off. More details are awaited.

In another incident in Thane district, a 23-year-old labourer was arrested in Ambernath for allegedly bludgeoning his employer to death, a police official said on Monday.

According to a PTI report, Saleem Yakub Sheikh on Sunday beat up labour contractor Abdul Rehman (52) to death following an argument after the former’s daily wage was reduced from the promised Rs 1,000 to Rs 700, an official of Ambernath police station said.
