Several Sunday bus services threatened with cancellation

Staff shortages and sick leave cause potential disruptions

Around 25 bus services on the Isle of Man are at risk of being cancelled throughout the day today (22 September).

Bus Vannin has highlighted 24 services between 6.40am this morning and shortly after 10pm this evening across the network that could be disrupted.

The organization explains that this is due to lack of staff and illness.

Routes that could potentially be affected today are service numbers 2, 2A, 3, 3A, 5, 6, 11A, 12 and 12A connecting the Douglas areas to Peel, Ramsey, Onchan and Port Erin.

Bus Vannin says its team continues to work hard to minimise the impact on service users.
