An attempted murder investigation has been opened after shots were fired at a group in the Salt Lake City area

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – HPD is searching for a suspect in a shooting in the Salt Lake area, according to Honolulu police officials.

Authorities say the incident happened around 9 p.m. Thursday.

That’s when police say a man shot four times at a group of victims, which included two men and a 17-year-old man.

The suspect then walked away from the scene.

No injuries were reported and no further details about the suspect were provided.

HPD has opened an investigation into attempted first-degree murder.
