Deshaun Watson explains how the Giants’ defense caught the Browns off guard in their 21-15 win

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Deshaun Watson praised the Giants for giving the Browns defensive opportunities in their 21-15 loss Sunday that he said they weren’t prepared for.

“They changed their game plan,” Watson said after the game. “You have to acknowledge that their DC Shane (Bowen) did something different than we did… Obviously, we expected pressure, but even if they did it, you have to be prepared for the worst. And they did a good job of trying to create mismatches and different mixups up front to throw us off our timing in the passing game. So to try to fix that, we have to win our matchups and try to find the right protection to understand what pressures they were applying on the edge to create and, yeah.”
