Louisville Zoo staff ready for 2024 Boo at the Zoo

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Boo at the Zoo is back at the Louisville Zoo!

This year’s event that’s presented by Meijer will be celebrating 43 years of the iconic

Boo at the Zoo runs from Saturday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 27 (Thursday – Sunday nights). The zoo turns into a living storybook with favorite characters brought to life. Music and photo opportunities are around every corner, and kids 11 years old and under can go trick-or-treating. Guests are encouraged by Louisville Zoo staff to bring their own trick-or-treat bags, but reusable treat bags are going to be available to buy at the Zoo’s Gift Shop for $2, while supplies last.

Children and adults are invited to dress up in their costumes for the after-hours event.

The Louisville Zoo said tickets are all-inclusive and also include Boo at the Zoo admission, parking, Spooktacular Carousel, “not-so-itsy-bitsy” Spider House and the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow attraction.
