Scout Willis was blown away by mother Demi Moore‘s emotional performance in her new film The fabric.

“My real takeaway from (The fabric) was how impressed I was with my mother and her courage to be as raw as she was and fall outside the message of the film,” Willis, 33, told exclusively We weekly at the Alice + Olivia X The Beatles event in New York City on Wednesday, November 13. “It was her willingness to stand in the harsh light and allow her body to bear these moments of deep vulnerability.”

Scout is one of three daughters Moore, 62, shares with his ex-husband Bruce Willis. The couple are also parents to Rumer, 36, and Tallulah, 30.

Moore shines in the horror movie alongside Margaret Qualley And Dennis Quaid. The film follows Moore’s character, Elisabeth Sparkle, a renowned aerobics instructor who faces personal challenges as she turns 50. She is approached by a laboratory that offers her a drug that promises to transform her into a perfected version of herself. Instead, a new, younger version of her appears – named Sue and played by Qualley.

Like mother, like daughters! Demi Moore looked radiant in a strapless red floor-length dress at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, The Substance, on Monday, September 16, but she didn’t come alone. Moore’s three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis, looked equally glamorous as they posed for photos with their mother (…)

Just like others who watched The fabricScout couldn’t help but say how great her mom is at this.

“I thought, ‘Wow, this woman is who I look up to,’ and she’s so incredibly beautiful, so incredibly talented and her willingness to show up in that room and be 100 percent herself,” she said. “It’s a service to share that and knowing how many people she touched, she was willing to be so brave.”

Since The Substance premiered in September, Moore has been the talk of the town. She has received praise not only from the audience but also from critics. Moore received the ultimate compliments, just as so many fans dressed up her character for Halloween.

Moore couldn’t help but talk about how “overwhelmed” she was by the response.

“I feel like it has had a deep resonance and really moved people,” Moore said in an interview with Vanity fair published on Tuesday. “It was thought provoking, which is always something that is very attractive and draws me to the material, but to see that translated? The part that was pure joy and fun – that people have built on from the memes, the Halloween costumes – and on the other side of that, to get such reflection and recognition for my work, I really couldn’t have imagined this imagine kind of combination. It just doesn’t always happen this way.”
