Mo Sylla: Dundee midfielder ‘responsive’ after locker room collapse

Dundee midfielder Mo Sylla is “responsive” in hospital after collapsing in the dressing room during the defeat to Aberdeen, manager Tony Docherty has said.

The 30-year-old Frenchman played the first half of the Scottish Premiership encounter at Dens Park before falling ill during the break.

“Mo took a turn at half-time in front of his teammates and it was not a good thing to see,” Docherty said after the 2-1 defeat.

“The doctors were involved and we had to get the players out of there.

“He’s reacting in hospital at the moment. So we’ll just have to evaluate him and see how he’s doing this weekend.”

Sylla joined Dundee last August, having previously played for Oldham Athletic, Aldershot and Hartlepool United.
