New England Patriots center David Andrews was spotted heading to the locker room after the first offensive drive of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

According to a team update, Andrews is officially questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

The Patriots have already lost several offensive linemen. Cole Strange is out with a knee injury, and Vederian Lowe and Michael Jordan were ruled out with injuries against San Francisco.

If Andrews misses time, veteran center Nick Leverett will be the Patriots’ next player. The team struggled in the preseason whenever Andrews was not on the field, especially with instant communication. Several mishandled balls led to fumbles for the Patriots.

This could be a major problem for the Patriots. San Francisco’s defensive line is one of the most formidable units in the league, and it is led by former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa.
