Silent Hill 2 Download Size Revealed; The game is quite full

Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake is one of the most anticipated games of 2024.

The title’s download size on PlayStation 5 has been revealed, ticking the 50GB checkpoint.

Bloober expects players to trust the studio with the final quality of Silent Hill 2.

Bloober Team has been hard at work on the highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 remake, and it’s safe to say that the game looks pretty phenomenal from everything we can see right now. Thanks to PlayStation Game Size on X, we now also know what the file size of the next title looks like on PlayStation 5. a 50 GB download more or less from day one, with pre-loads for the standard edition starting on October 6th.

Subsequently, if you have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes many in-game bonuses, including the digital artbook and the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack, you will be able to start playing from October 6.two whole days before the original release of the title.

Just a word of advice: be sure to avoid searching for terms related to Silent Hill 2 these days. Some stores apparently sold out of the game ahead of schedule, leading to many posting spoilers online. Well, looking back, I’m not sure how spoiled you can be with a game that’s over 20 years old, but if you’re a newcomer to the franchise, the advice still stands.

I will say that Silent Hill 2 got off to a bad start when Bloober Team decided to release a “combat trailer” for the game. While claiming that these images did not reflect the true spirit of the remake, the developers later showed off the environmental design of Silent Hill 2, thus winning back hearts.
