TikTok Personality ‘Mr. Prada’ accused of killing Baton Rouge therapist, officials say

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A ‘viral TikTok personality’ faces a murder charge after East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered evidence consistent with foul play related to a case involving a therapist killed in Baton Rouge.

According to EBRSO, 20-year-old Terryon Thomas is currently in custody in Dallas, Texas. Thomas is now charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

Police said Thomas was a popular “TikTok personality” known as “Mr. Prada.”

The victim, William Nicholas Abraham, 69, was violently attacked and his body was wrapped in a tarp and dumped along a highway in Tangipahoa Parish where it was discovered Sunday morning, Sept. 29, the sheriff said of Tangipahoa Parish, Gerald Sticker.

According to an arrest report, while executing a search warrant at Mr. Prada’s apartment on Mancuso Lane in Baton Rouge, homicide detectives discovered evidence indicating that “a violent physical altercation” had taken place. place inside the apartment.

Law enforcement added that a significant amount of blood was observed throughout the apartment, as well as several sharp objects and other weapons. Jail records reveal additional evidence points to an attempt to remove evidence by cleaning up the scene.

CCTV footage showed Abraham arriving at the apartment complex where Mr. Prada lived around 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, according to the affidavit. Detectives said the victim was wearing the same clothes in the surveillance footage as when she was found dead and wrapped in the tarp.

The arrest report further reports that witnesses allegedly saw Mr. Prada dragging an object wrapped in a blue tarp hours after the victim was last seen alive on September 28.

Authorities said witnesses reported that Mr. Prada appeared to struggle while dragging the blue tarp up the stairs. He was also allegedly seen loading the tarpaulin into the victim’s vehicle.

Crime scene investigators collected blood DNA samples from the crime scene, which were submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Laboratory for analysis.

On October 2, authorities received confirmation that the DNA found at the crime scene matched that of the victim.

The relationship between the suspect and the victim and the motive for the killing are still under investigation. At present, there is no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham.

This incident is under investigation and further updates will be provided as they become available.

Thomas will be extradited to East Baton Rouge Parish to stand trial at a later date.
