Hilton announces the appointment of Guillaume Marly as General Manager of the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch.

Marly, an industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, will lead operations of the iconic property as it concludes its development and prepares to welcome its first guests.

Marly’s wealth of experience running some of London’s most famous hotels has seen him recognized in Walpole’s Power List 2023 as one of the 50 most influential people in British luxury.

Hilton is revitalizing the iconic property into a 100-key luxury hotel in partnership with Reuben Brothers. The hotel will exemplify the evolution of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts to meet the needs of the next generation of discerning travelers and locals while honoring its historic past. Originally commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, the Admiralty Arch building stands proudly at the end of the shopping centre, opposite Buckingham Palace, offering unrivaled views of the palace in one direction and across Trafalgar Square in the other. It will feature exciting restaurants and bars led by world-renowned chefs, making it a must-visit London destination for hotel guests and non-residents alike. The development is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
