First warning forecast: even colder mornings

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – There are only a few lingering showers in parts of the Midstate this morning, but they won’t last long.

The rain will taper off during the morning before we dry out completely on Thursday afternoon and try to get some sunshine again late in the day.

Today’s highs remain in the 50s and low 60s.

We’ll have a much better chance of getting sunshine back on Friday, with highs also in the 50s and low 60s with lows in the 40s.

The weekend is looking nice now with temperatures in the low 60s on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Saturday it will be mainly sunny and Sunday afternoon we will only see a few clouds.

Clouds will thicken again on Monday with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Our next round of rain will move into the Midstate by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week
