Crashes closed all lanes of southbound I-95 at two different points

RICHMOND, Va. – Crashes closed all southbound I-95 lanes at two different points in the Richmond area Thursday morning.

All southbound I-95 lanes and the northbound left shoulder are now open after being closed at mile marker 71.5 near Bells Road in South Richmond due to a multi-vehicle crash. The northbound carriageway and southbound shoulder have now reopened and traffic is passing on the shoulder.

All southbound lanes are now open near State Route 30 in Hanover County at mile marker 95.6 following a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer.
