Henderson County resource grant to focus on post-Helene recovery efforts

HENDERSON COUNTY, NC (WSPA) – A resources fair for people recovering from Hurricane Helene is coming to Hendersonville.

The fair will take place on the Henderson County Disaster Recovery Center on Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m

According to Hendersonville officials, representatives from county departments and nonprofits will be at the fair and the event is open to the public.

Participants can receive FEMA application assistance, free flu shots, disaster unemployment registration assistance, home repair assistance and more.

If you can’t make it this weekend, another fair is scheduled for November 22-23, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at 2111 Asheville Highway, Hendersonville, NC.
