Mississippi worship leader pleads guilty to producing child pornography

GOLF GATE, Mrs. (WJTV) – A Mississippi worship leader pleaded guilty Thursday to child pornography production.

This is evident from court documents Tyler Selbyof Saucier, was identified after British authorities recovered a video from a social media user in the United States.

Federal authorities in the US have identified Selby as the person who broadcast the video showing an adult man and a minor child engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Prosecutors said Selby knew the video would be transported over the Internet and broadcast in interstate and foreign commerce using a livestreaming platform.

Selby pleaded guilty to using a minor in his lawful custody for the purpose of producing and broadcasting a live visual representation of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Selby will be sentenced on March 6, 2025 and faces a minimum prison sentence of 15 and a maximum of 30 years.

WXXV reported that Selby was a worship leader at a Baptist church in Harrison County.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations with assistance from West Yorkshire Police.
