Amit Lakra murder case: Delhi police arrest second gunman | Latest News Delhi

New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested a 20-year-old man linked to the Bambiha-Tillu syndicate, almost a week after a 26-year-old suspected member of the rival Gogi gang was gunned down by two assailants in Mundka area, police said Sunday.

The suspect, identified as Tushar (single name), 20, was detained from Sonipat on Saturday.

The deceased, Amit Lakra, was the brother of jailed gangster Ankesh Lakra, who was allegedly behind the recent firing and extortion incidents in Outer Delhi. Amit was murdered on November 9.

“We received a tip-off that the bike (used in the murder) was near an eatery in Kundli,” said Sanjay Kumar Sain, deputy commissioner of police (crime). On Saturday morning, Tuhar was detained while driving it. His colleague Nihaal Singh was arrested on Thursday.
