RIVER HILLS, Wis. — Authorities are investigating whether the burglaries at the homes of several high-profile sports stars could be linked.

The burglaries occurred while the athletes were playing with their teams.

Surveillance video captured the moment NBA star Bobby Portis says two men broke into his home.

“I had a home invasion and they took most of my valuables,” Portis said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the home surveillance video that Portis posted on X, you can see the two wearing what appear to be face masks at his home in River Hills, Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee Bucks forward says he broke into a home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers last week. He asks the public for help.

“Any information leading to the return of my assets will be richly rewarded,” Portis said.

Police in River Hills are working to identify the suspects and say, “We are investigating all possibilities, locally and nationally, and investigating what similarities there may be.”

Authorities are also investigating the recent burglaries from the homes of Kansas City Chiefs superstars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

“It’s frustrating and disappointing, but I can’t go into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing, but obviously you don’t want that to happen to anyone,” Mahomes said.

Mahomes has remained tight-lipped about the brash burglary of his sprawling estate, but when it comes to the invasion of Travis Kelce’s home, police say the suspect made off with $20,000 in cash and caused $1,000 in damage.

Earlier this year, Jason Kelce opened up on The Big Podcast with Shaq about his brother Travis having to move due to safety concerns.

“On the first day he moved into his new home, a gated community, someone knocked on a window of the house,” Jason said.

On Sunday morning, the FBI assisted with the home invasion case at Portis’ home. River Hills police said they are in contact with authorities in Missouri.

“Well, the connection could be that you have three professional athletes, two football players, one basketball, or is this just a matter of it being quite easy to look up when a basketball game is being played and calculate lives, because they also very active on social media,” says former FBI agent Brad Garrett.
