One person is injured after a vehicle crashes into a building in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – One person was injured early Wednesday morning after crashing his car into a State Farm building in Gainesville.

According to Gainesville Fire Rescue, firefighters responded to a car crash at 1800 North Main Street. One person was trapped in the vehicle, but firefighters were able to successfully free the person from the car.

The person was injured but was able to receive immediate medical care.

GFR’s Light Technical Rescue team was able to strengthen the building.
