Get Fit with CB is hosting a Zumba fundraiser for local students with cancer

VINTON, Va. (WDBJ) – Members of Get fit with CB danced today to help a William Byrd High School student battling stage 4 cancer.

Camden Thepsimuong was preparing for his freshman year of high school when he was diagnosed with bone cancer in July.

But since then, the school community has stood by him.

Two teachers at WBHS organized a Zumba fundraiser for his family this afternoon to help cover the cost of treatment.

They thought of a better way to celebrate Cam than doing something he’s good at.

“When we were there, we thought: he likes to dance. I’ve seen him dance, so I know he can dance and it will be something right up his alley,” said Cherry Bell, one of the organizers and owner of Get Fit with CB.
