House damaged after shots fired in Doncaster

A home and vehicle were damaged during a shooting that prompted a large police response on Wednesday.

Armed officers, along with police aircraft, were sent to Ingram Crescent, Dunscroft, Doncaster, at around 7pm BST.

A search of the area was carried out but no firearm was found, South Yorkshire Police said.

No one was injured and there would be a large police presence in the area as officers investigated, a force spokesperson added.
