Yo-Yo reacts to rumors that Diddy was involved in Tupac Shakur’s murder

West Coast rap pioneer Yo-Yo has known Sean “Diddy” Combs for decades and was shocked to learn of the abuse allegations against the mogul.

Yo-Yo shared her reaction to reports of Diddy’s alleged abuse during a recent sidewalk interview with TMZ.

“I hate kicking a man when he’s down,” Yo-Yo began. “That’s why you do good, good comes back to you. Keep your hands clean. A lot of things that weren’t done are being blamed on him and a lot of things that were done that he’s being accused of.”

She added: “It could have been me, it could have been at Diddy’s party, but I wasn’t.”

Yo-Yo was particularly distraught upon hearing the allegation linking Diddy to Tupac Shakur’s murder.

“We will be back,” she added. “I have known Puffy my entire career and upon hearing many of the allegations that were made against him, I was very shocked. Even the Tupac situation, all of that, you know… Tupac and I were very close. So, (to) hear all that stuff, it’s well, you know I mean…”

Yo-Yo reflects on her relationship with Tupac Shakur

Yo-Yo spoke to TudoHipHop about her relationship with the late rapper during a 2019 interview, revealing that they were like “brother and sister.” She also revealed that she was in the hospital in Las Vegas with Tupac when he passed away.

“I thought he would survive, let’s start there,” she explained. “He was very strong. My presence was known, he looked at me. He knew I was there.

At the beginning of this year, Page six reported that Tupac Shakur’s family is considering a wrongful death lawsuit against Diddy.

“People from Diddy’s past are coming forward and providing information,” a source told the outlet.

Murder suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis implicated the Bad Boy Records founder in previous statements to police. The embattled mogul has denied any involvement in Tupac’s murder for years. Keefe D will be tried in November.
