Rafael Nadal: Novak Djokovic says Spanish star’s retirement is “overwhelming”

Novak Djokovic, 24-times Grand Slam winner, says he is “shocked” and “overwhelmed” by the news that Rafael Nadal will retire at the end of the season.

Reflecting on the departure of three of the ‘Big Four’, Djokovic said that “a part of me stayed with them”, while Nadal follows Andy Murray and Roger Federer in choosing to retire from the sport.
