Road closed in Palmyra while police investigate incident

PALMYRA, Maine (WABI) – Police say a road is closed in Palmyra as authorities are investigating an incident.

According to Maine State Police, Madawaska Road is closed while they investigate the incident with the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say the incident occurred just before 3 a.m. Friday.

They are asking residents to avoid the area, but don’t know for how long.

Police say there is no known danger to the public at this time.
