Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) begins to wonder if a certain Christmas Day murder is about to be revisited once again in EastEnders soon, while Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) leaves her worried.

The murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walter) was the center of Walford gossip last month as Dean (Matt Di Angelo) took the stand and stood trial following his arrest.

The situation completely fell apart after he finally admitted to raping Linda, casting doubt on his false testimony that she saw him dragging Keanu’s body to the cafe on Christmas Eve.

Aware that the remaining members of the Six could be questioned by the police again, Linda sacrificed herself and went to prison, confessing to the lead detective that she killed Keanu.

However, the consequences did not happen as she thought.

The officer dismissed her, finding fault with her story and believing she had been drinking.

Desperate to find peace, Linda returned to the Square and went straight to the cafe, where Bernie was working late.

When the truth was revealed, a distressed Bernie attacked Linda and began strangling her – mirroring how his brother had strangled Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) shortly before Linda stabbed him to save her best friend’s life.

After receiving a warning from Phil Mitchell’s lawyer Ritchie Scott (Sian Webber) that Linda had gone to the police station to confess, Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) arrived at the cafe to try and stop her from blabbering.

But it was too late and, seeing Bernie’s torment, Kathy tearfully revealed all about their role in covering up Keanu’s death on that fateful Christmas night.

Realizing that Bernie would soon buy them into the police force, the Six begged for time to say goodbye to their children, while Bernie ran off.

She was later seen at The Albert calling her mother, Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley), where she was unable to tell her about the horror she had just learned about and instead talked about visiting her in Spain.

While Bernie remains quiet for now, upcoming episodes will have Kathy fearing that someone else might discover the Six’s murderous secret.

As Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve (Heather Peace) continue to talk about their engagement plans, Nish gets Vinny (Shiv Jalota) to talk to Habiba about arranging a visit for her son Tye.

Knowing that Tye’s arrival will affect Suki, Nish is happy when Habiba agrees to the request.

At the end of the week, Kathy is shocked to find Nish and Suki playing happy families at the cafe with Tye, and later questions Suki if Nish can be trusted.

Is this a risk?

Or are Suki and Nish pretending to get along just for Tye?
