Preity Zinta mourns Baba Siddique's tragic death: 'Completely shocked!'

The tragic death of the PCN leader Baba Siddique left many in the country in shock, including actress Preity Zinta, who shared her heartfelt condolences on social media. Siddique, a well-known politician and close friend of several Bollywood celebrities, was shot dead by three unknown assailants in Bandra on Saturday night. His demise triggered an outpouring of grief from many, including stars like Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Preity Zinta.
Taking to Twitter, Preity expressed her sadness over Siddique’s untimely death. She wrote: “Completely shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of Baba Siddique Ji. My deepest condolences to @zeeshan_iyc and his entire family. May God give peace to your soul and strength to your family at this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be punished severely and swiftly. #RIP #BabaSiddique.”
Several other celebrities also took to social media to mourn Siddique’s death. Actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, “Extremely saddened and shocked beyond words to hear about the tragic demise of Shri #BabaSiddique ji. My heart goes out to @zeeshan_iyc and the entire family. May God give them strength to face this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be brought to justice.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan, who shared a close bond with Siddique, arrived at the late politician’s residence to pay his respects. Due to the recent threats to his life, security around Salman Khan has increased significantly, with police patrolling the exterior of his Galaxy apartment in Bandra. The threats, allegedly linked to the Bishnoi Ganginclude a previous shooting attempt outside Salman’s residence earlier this year.
