A video of Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek has surfaced online, showing Nicole pushing Salma’s hand away as they were about to pose for photos.

A seemingly innocent photo opportunity between Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek and Katy Perry during the recent Paris Fashion Week took an unexpected turn. The incident occurred on September 30th at the Balenciaga fashion show. A video circulating online captures the awkward encounter, showing Salma Hayek trying to turn Nicole Kidman for the cameras as the photographer asks for “one more” photo. Instead of posing together, Nicole surprisingly pushes Salma’s hand away. After this brief exchange, the ‘Big Little Lies’ star leans in to give Katy a kiss, exchanges a few words with Salma, waves her goodbye and leaves.

According to Page Six, it’s still unclear what exactly Nicole and Salma talked about, but after Nicole left, Hayek was heard saying, “Yes, please. Advice.” In response, someone off camera added, “You don’t need that,” to which Salma quickly responded, “I do.”

Despite the supposed tension between Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman, the Frida star shared several photos from Paris Fashion Week, which also included a smiling pose with Nicole. She also offered a behind-the-scenes look at the event. In the series, she also shared a fun video of Katy Perry, along with a short clip where Salma was seen talking to Lindsay Lohan. Another post featured her alongside IT star Bill Skarsgard.

During Paris Fashion Week, the city rolled out the red carpet for several international celebrities. This event also marked Nicole Kidman’s first public appearance since the death of her mother, Janelle, last month. At the time, the actress was present at the Venice Film Festival, promoting her film Babygirl. Upon receiving the news, the 57-year-old actress chose to leave the festival early and quickly returned to Sydney, Australia, to be with her family.

Confirming the news on Instagram, Nicole wrote: “My sister and I, along with our family, want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week. Every message we received from those who loved and admired our Mother meant more to us than we will ever be able to express. Thank you from our entire family for respecting our privacy while looking out for each other.”

For the Balenciaga show, the two Hollywood beauties, Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman, turned heads with their floor-length black dress. Salma Hayek’s husband François-Henri Pinault, a prominent French businessman, owns several luxury brands, including Balenciaga.
