Burning car moves on Jaipur highway, panicked passengers run for safety

A video of a driverless burning car plying on a road in Jaipur has gone viral on social media. The dramatic event took place in the Sodala Sabzi Mandi area. The car, driven by Jitendra, caught fire due to a suspected short circuit. Upon noticing the flames and smoke, Jitendra quickly escaped. However, the car continued moving without a driver, accelerating on an elevated road. Eventually, it collided with a divider after crossing the elevated section. There were no injuries, despite the chaos caused by the vehicle.

Motorcyclists abandoned their bikes upon sighting the car and many people could be seen frantically running away from their vehicles to avoid the car. The car left behind a huge blanket of smoke.

The driver was driving down the elevated road when he noticed smoke coming from the vehicle’s air conditioning unit, the Times of India reported. He immediately contacted his brother for advice and checked what was going on. Jitendra discovered that the engine was on fire when he lifted the hood.
