Best Bets on Monday Night Football: 5 Accessories to Consider Now

A reeling AFC East team will turn its season around when the New York Jets host the Buffalo Bills in Week 6, and you can find the widest selection of MNF betting promo codes available at the top Pennsylvania sportsbooks.

The Jets are recovering from two consecutive losses that resulted in head coach Robert Saleh losing his job following their 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London. Jeff Ullbrich will take over the role, and his first move was to demote offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and replace him with passing coordinator Todd Downing.

Still, the Jets won two straight as home underdogs against the Bills at MetLife Stadium, wreaking havoc on Bills quarterback Josh Allen and forcing five interceptions. Jordan Whitehead had four of those INTs and is now playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which might make Allen breathe a sigh of relief.

But Buffalo has also lost two in a row and only leads the Jets by one game for first place in the AFC East. The Bills were outscored 62-34 in their two straight losses, and Allen completed just 25 of 59 passes (42.3 percent) in their two-game skid.

This game will be super compelling between these AFC East rivals. But if you want to place a prop bet or place a parlay bet on the same game, here are our five favorite prop bets to consider for Monday Night’s affair and the best sportsbooks to bet them on.

1. Breece Hall with 12.5+ rushing attempts

Best Odds: -114 at FanDuel Sportsbook

Why bet this: Downing may run the Jets’ passing game, but you can bet he’ll want to get back to the basics in his first game as the running back. New York ranks 32nd in the NFL in rushing yards per game (80.4) and 26th in rushing attempts (113), which is why it is struggling to generate offense.

But a new play-caller could affect all of that, and Hall is already averaging 13 carries per game despite the Jets’ reluctance to call running plays. If New York wants to pull off the upset, it will likely want to keep Allen on the sidelines, which means a steady dose of Hall and 1A Braelon Allen.

Additionally, the Bills have struggled to defend the streak, especially during their two-game losing streak. Buffalo is surrendering 144 rushing yards per game and has surrendered 182.5 per game over the last two games.

Whether Hall can be uncorked in the running game remains to be seen. But look for Downing to at least try.

2. Josh Allen over 0.5 interceptions

Best Odds: -120 at BetMGM sports betting

Why bet this: Despite Buffalo’s recent struggles, Allen did an excellent job protecting the ball. He has yet to be intercepted in Buffalo’s first five games on 131 pass attempts.

This means Allen is overdue for a pick, as he has been picked off on one in every 42 attempts throughout his career. Additionally, we alluded to the Jets defense’s ability to beat Allen at MetLife, but the Buffalo QB has 11 picks in 11 career games against New York at any location.

Therefore, continuing this trend is a valid bet.

3. Greg Zuerlein Over 1.5 Extra Points Earned

Best Odds: -140 at BetMGM sports betting

Why bet this: Zuerlein is experiencing a regression in his accuracy this season, an unfortunate development for one of the strongest kickers in NFL history. But he has been perfect on extra points this season, making all eight of his attempts.

Zuerlein has scored at least two extra points in three of New York’s five games this season. With a new offensive game planner and playing against a Buffalo defense that has allowed 21.2 points per game – aka three touchdowns – expect New York to score at least two TDs on Monday night.

If the Jets score at least two TDs, Zuerlein will almost certainly earn two extra points.

4. Josh Allen over 33.5 rushing yards

Best Odds: -114 at FanDuel Sportsbook

Why bet this: Running back James Cook’s status for this game is up in the air, which will make a big game for Allen that much more important.

Allen is 3-2 against this number of support, and he has only failed to overcome the support in Buffalo’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the last three games. Cook was benched in the other game and Allen was unable to run successfully.

Still, the Jets’ defense also struggled for much of the season. Although New York surrendered just 82 yards on 30 carries to Minnesota last weekend, it is still giving up 119.2 yards per game on the ground.

This isn’t a high bar to clear for Allen, and with Buffalo in flux at the running back position, and the potential for Allen to rack up yards while struggling, this is a solid bracket to pick.

5. Garrett Wilson landing any day now

Best Odds: +180 at Caesars Sportsbook

Why bet this: We’ll close with a long odds proposition on a player worth taking a look at. Wilson has thrown two touchdowns in New York’s last three games and appears to finally be developing a relationship with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Bills pass defense has been good but not great, allowing nearly 190 passing yards per game. But they’ve also given up six passing TDs in five games, which is good but still means Rodgers will likely throw at least one TD on Monday night.

Allen Lazard leads the Jets with four TD receptions, but Wilson is New York’s No. 1 receiver and had a miracle catch last year on Monday night from Zach Wilson. No other Jets receiver has more than one receiving TD, which makes Lazard and Wilson the Nos. 1 and 1A, especially near the goal line.

Maybe Lazard will also catch a TD (+325 at Caesars Sportsbook), but if Rodgers is only going to throw one touchdown on Monday night, it’s a safe bet that Wilson will be the one to catch him.
