Wicked x Stanley collection almost causes “fight” as fans face off at Target

Wicked fans are rushing to get their hands on the exclusive Stanley x Wicked collection as available items are limited.

With the theatrical release of Wicked approaching on November 22, Stanley has teamed up with the production to release four Wicked-themed cups.

The Stanley x Wicked collection includes a 40-ounce stainless steel FlowState H2.0 Quencher for $55 and a 20-ounce stainless steel FlowState H2.0 Quencher tumbler for $35.

The 40-ounce and 20-ounce Stanley cups come in two colors: a black and green ombré to represent Elphaba from Wicked and a bright pink with gold and glitter accents to represent Glinda.

The collection can be found exclusively in Target stores and online starting Sunday, October 13. However, during the Target launch, Wicked fans nearly caused a fight while trying to stock up on suppressors.

In a viral TikTok from an eager fan, they captured a wave of people bombarding Target shelves. “There was almost a fight over the Wicked Stanleys,” they said. “People were demanding. It was crazy,” they added.

The TikToker also alleged that customers tried to snatch a Wicked-themed Stanley out of his son’s hands.

Despite the competition, the TikToker and her accompanying group showed off their Elphaba-inspired Stanleys.

While viewers were shocked that fans caused such a stir over “one damn cup,” this isn’t the first time Stanley’s collaborations have caused a craze.

In July, pop artist Olivia Rodrigo teamed up with Stanley to release a cup inspired by her album “GUTS,” prompting collaborators to implement a system to stop bots and hoarders from buying too many at once.

And in September, Stanley owners went viral for attaching accessories and snack holders to their cups so they could have everything they needed in one place.

How to get the Wicked x Stanley Collection

To purchase the witch-inspired Stanleys, customers can purchase items available at Target’s online store. The Elphaba and Glinda tumblers are also available at Target stores while supplies last.
