The Inster Cross is available in the exclusive Amazonas Green Matte color, while the interior features a unique color scheme of gray fabric upholstery with lemon yellow accents and dashboard trim. It also offers the ability to fold all four car seats and a “walk-through” front cabin.

Hyundai hasn’t confirmed whether the Inster’s battery and motor combinations will be available on the Cross variant, but we know the ‘Long Range’ configuration will be. It uses a 113 hp electric motor to drive the front wheels, while the 49 kWh battery will offer up to 350 kilometers of range.

The Inster Cross can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes thanks to a maximum charging speed of 120 kW, while vehicle-to-charge (V2L) capacity means the car battery can be used to power other devices .

Full specifications and UK pricing for the Inster Cross have not yet been confirmed, but like regular versions of the Inster, standard kit is expected to include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, daytime running lights LED lights, energy-saving heating, pump and keyless entry. There are also expected to be a range of advanced driver assistance systems, such as ‘Highway Driving Assist 1.5’, which combines adaptive cruise control with lane keeping assistance.
