Two arrested after man stabbed during alleged robbery in Co Down – The Irish News

Two people have been arrested following a stabbing incident in Co Down on Monday night, which police believe occurred during an attempted robbery.

It was reported that a man and a woman entered a property in Killyleagh at around 11.30pm, with an altercation occurring inside.

A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds to the leg following the incident, which happened in the Sloane Crescent area.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery and inflicting grievous bodily harm.

The two suspects remained in police custody on Tuesday afternoon.
