KIB Announces Winners of Al Dirwaza Account Weekly Draw

KUWAIT CITY, October 15: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) announced the winners of the weekly draw held as part of the Al Dirwaza account 2024 campaign, which is distinguished by the highest number of winners throughout the year. The second weekly draw, based on customer deposits from September, was recently held in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as representatives from the Bank. The KD 1,000 prize was awarded to Najwa Abduellah Mohammad Marafie, Saad Ali Hussain Hussain, Bijad Nafea Khaled Almutairi, Laila Mohammad Abdullah Aldamkhi and Adel Ahmad Hussain Dashti, while the KD 500 prize was awarded to Jouri Adnan Hussain Alenezi, Ahmad Mohammad Jabran Manea, Zeyad Hussain Abdulaziz Sheheda, Dabbous Fares Ghanim Aldabbous, Ali Sayed Ahmed Ali, Ayman Mostafa Sayed Elsaghir and Naflah Mohsen Abdullah Alazmi.

It is worth noting that the AlDirwaza account is a savings account for private customers, based on the Wakala investment principle, launched by KIB as one of its banking products for individuals. The account is currently the best of its kind in the industry with expected annual profits of up to 2% disbursed monthly, where the client earns an expected profit of 2% in the first 3 months from the account opening date and up to the expected rate from 1% onwards. Expected profits are automatically deposited into the customer’s account on the first day of the beginning of each month.

Al Dirwaza account holders are eligible to participate in the weekly, monthly and annual draws as long as they maintain at least KD 100 in their account. For the weekly and monthly draws, each KD 1 that has completed a full month’s cycle on the account will count towards a chance, and the odds are calculated based on the lowest monthly balance prior to the draw. In the mega draw, the chances are calculated for each KD 1 that completes a two-month cycle on the account – based on the two lowest monthly balances prior to the draw.

The Al Dirwaza account is also in compliance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia and approved by the KIB Sharia Supervisory Board. Furthermore, the account brings a wide range of benefits, including the ease of opening the account, which does not require a salary transfer, and the possibility for the customer to open it remotely without visiting a branch through KIB Online on the Bank or KIB website Mobile application on smartphones.

Additionally, the Al Dirwaza account automatically grants customers instant issuance of an ATM card, with a daily ATM withdrawal limit of KD 2,000, as well as the ability to issue credit cards against the account’s cash collateral. To open the account and participate in the draws, a minimum of KD 100 is required and can only be withdrawn when the account is closed.
