Give the Lord ‘equal time,’ encourages Elder Rasband during devotional for 10,000 youth and young adults – Deseret News

Give the Lord equal time. That was the appeal made by Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles to approximately 10,000 youth and young adults on Sunday, October 13.

Noting the pressures many young people face, Elder Rasband told his listeners: “You may be thinking, ‘I just don’t have time, Elder Rasband. I’m already overcommitted; I have to get good grades; I’m taking a lot of credit hours; I have tough teachers who expect my full attention; I am working; and I can barely go to church on Sunday.’”

To which the Apostle replied: “Know this: you cannot leave your testimony on the shelf during your college years.”
