Former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times in Las Vegas

We wonder what the shooters were thinking when Ozzy Osbourne’s former guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times in a random Las Vegas episode on October 15th.

The incident is currently under investigation.

In a statement, Lee’s administration told USA Today that police think “it was completely random and occurred while Lee was walking his dog in the early morning hours.” They said the musician is “fully conscious and doing well in the intensive care unit of a Las Vegas hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.”

Las Vegas police responded to a shooting, according to the report. The statement said: “Officers arrived and located a male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. The man was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time.”

Jake E. Lee became well-known to rock fans when he joined Ozzy Osbourne’s band for the albums “Bark at the Moon” and “The Ultimate Sin.”

Jake then formed the band Badlands with former Black Sabbath singer Ray Gillen and Eric Singer. The band released three albums.

Post that, Jake formed a new band Red Dragon Cartel in 2013, which released the albums “Red Dragon Cartel” in 2014 and “Patina” in 2018.

Jake has been absent from public appearances because he took a self-imposed absence from public performances because he suffered from pain in his right hand and was working on pain management.

In early October, he said in a new interview that he wants to play again and is looking forward to going on tour soon. He said: “I want to finish the ‘Patina’ tour, which was canceled because of COVID. I would like to go out and do this (with) Red Dragon Cartel, focus on the ‘Patina’ album and do some more recording. We’ll see where this goes.”
