For a big sneaker, the Nike Zoom Vomero Roam 'Mink Brown' is quite subtle

The Vomero hype can’t stop, won’t stop, and it’s all thanks to shiny new offerings like the Nike Zoom Vomero Roam ‘Mink Brown’. Since the classic trail shoe was announced last month, the colorways have continued to arrive. No one is complaining about it either.

Just like every Vomero Roam we’ve seen so far, this version features a two-tone color combination in the same vein as last week’s freshly baked ‘Black Rose’. The top half, with a ripstop nylon base and suede overlays, comes in ‘Mink Brown’, while the bottom half, with a water-resistant cover and Cushlon foam sole, is colored in ‘Light Bone’. It’s one of the main things that sets it apart from its quieter, older sibling, the Vomero 5.

And it wouldn’t be a hiking-inspired sneaker without a few lighter touches. We’re talking about switch laces. We’re talking large tabs on the tongue and heel. And we’re talking about an all-new rubber outsole that’s extra grippy and extra traction.

Even though the Zoom Vomero Roam hasn’t even hit stores yet, the wide variety shows just how confident Nike feels about its latest offspring. And the big Swoosh is rumored to be working on a line of big-name collaborations, so you’re likely to have even more options next year.

The Nike Zoom Vomero Roam ‘Mink Brown’ will release soon at Nike, the Snkrs app and select retailers worldwide. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but expect to pay around £145.
