FBI prevents ISIS-inspired terrorist attack on Election Day

The Afghan branch of the Islamic State, ISIS-K, orchestrated an Afghan man’s foiled terrorist plot on Election Day, two senior U.S. officials briefed on the matter told NBC News. Afghan Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi was arrested in early October and accused of planning to target large groups of people on November 5. NewsNation’s Leland Vittert says there may be more people in the country planning to carry out the same attack.
