Twin brothers died after falling into a chemical reservoir in Jeedimetla-Telangana Today

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, two twin brothers reportedly died after accidentally falling into a tank filled with chemical solution at Saboori Pharma Company in Jeedimetla industrial area on Wednesday.

The incident occurred when the victims – Ramu (32) and Laxman (32), went to the company, which had been closed for a long time, to start renovation work.

Police said the company was opened by authorities to carry out maintenance and renovation work and the twins were called for the same. Renovation was being carried out to reopen it.

“They took over cleaning up the chemical waste from the pharmaceutical company. In the process, one of them accidentally falls into the chemical reservoir and the other who tried to save him also fell inside and both became unconscious. They were taken to a nearby hospital where they died under treatment,” said a police officer.

Another worker identified as Surender Reddy fell seriously ill and was treated at the hospital.

Jeedimetla police are investigating.
