50 Cent Said Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Had ‘Weird Energy’ and Made Him Feel ‘Uncomfortable’ After a Specific Incident Years Ago

Hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ life has changed a lot in the past year. He first came under fire in 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, accused him of years of physical and sexual assault. And in 2024, footage was released that showed Diddy beating Cassie in a hotel hallway.

In late 2024, Diddy was arrested on charges including racketeering and sex trafficking, and is now in jail pending trial. For years, celebrities have been involved with Diddy, but he certainly had some rivals – one of them was rapper 50 Cent. And 50 said Diddy made him “uncomfortable” after a specific incident that happened years ago.

The ’50s feud with Diddy dates back to when the two were just starting out in the industry. Although they weren’t friends, things were fine between the two at first. But in a 2006 song, “The Bomb,” 50 accused Diddy of being involved in Biggie’s murder, which began a years-long feud between the two.

50 later recalled an event that occurred in the early 2000s that made him realize he didn’t want to be associated with Diddy.

“He asked to take me shopping,” 50 said in a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, recounting the incident. “I thought it was the weirdest shit in the world because it could be something a man says to a woman,” he said. “And I was like, ‘No, I’m not playing with this weird energy or weird shit,’ coming out the way he was just moving. From then on, I didn’t feel comfortable around him.”

50 Cent never went to any of Diddy’s parties

50 spoke about the allegations against Diddy and doubled down on some things. He didn’t feel comfortable around him and never attended any of Diddy’s parties.

“I never partied or went out with him,” said 50. “I see people who were taken advantage of, who produced things that he took from them… He was able to take advantage of the business and the creatives in it.”

50 also said he believes the reason more people don’t speak out is because they don’t know what’s recorded and what isn’t. “They could have had a lot of fun,” 50 said of some of the rappers and other celebrities who didn’t speak out. “And then you have other people who look and say, ‘Well, that’s none of my business and I don’t want any part of it.’”
