A&E is premiering a new documentary series about what happens when cops chase fugitives on the run. Each half-hour episode will follow the cops as they pursue fugitives evading the police.

“Fugitives Caught on Tape” premieres on A&E on Wednesday, October 16, with two new episodes, beginning at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. For those who have cut traditional cable, you can watch the new documentary on Philo, which offers a free trial for new subscribers or Sling TV (discount).

What to expect from tonight’s premiere episodes

Season 1, episode 1 at 10 p.m. “LAPD ground units work with helicopter officers to capture a suspected suspect in multiple hit-and-runs; deputies and police in Florida pursue a suspected murder suspect; deputies in New Mexico chase a naked woman who drives recklessly on the highway; and much more.”

Season 1, Episode 2 at 10:30 pm “Cops in Florida pursue a man who stole two police cars on the same day; deputies begin a foot chase with a suspected cop killer; police respond to report of man attacked with machete; and much more.”

What is “Fugitives Caught on Tape” about?

“Fugitives Caught on Tape” follows police officers as they pursue fugitives on the run. With access to a multitude of cameras, including body and dashboard cameras, security and traffic cameras, personal doorbell footage, smartphone cameras and more, viewers can see how agencies track fleeing suspects.
