Andy Cohen Denies Jennifer Aydin’s Claim She Was Asked to Return to ‘RHONJ’

Andy Cohen has denied Jennifer Aydin’s claim that she was asked to return to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” for Season 15.

Over the weekend, Aydin — who has starred on the Bravo reality series since Season 9 — went live on Instagram while injecting Botox into her face.

One of the people watching commented something indicating that they didn’t want Aydin, 47, to return to the show, prompting the mother of five to put up her middle finger and respond: “Oh sorry (Instagram username), I’m coming back .”

The bold statement came shortly after information from alleged sources began circulating online claiming that Aydin, Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania were “instructed not to be involved in any other projects outside of NBC” because “they would all be returning” for the next season of “ RHONJ.”

“What? A report where? Where did they get this?” a shocked Cohen, 56, exclaimed on his SiriusXM “Andy Cohen Live” radio show on Wednesday when the topic was brought up.

“We have not made any decisions on ‘The Real Housewives (of New Jersey).’”

When co-host John Hill informed the network’s astonished EP that Aydin herself had made the announcement, he responded, “What?! No. Has she confirmed that she’s coming back?! No.”

Cohen continued: “We did absolutely nothing – well, actually, we did a lot. But that’s not – no. I’ll wait until I get one… I wish you the best of luck. Wait until Bravo or I say something.

Many fans took the sentiment to mean that Aydin would not return to the show.

“Andy definitely said ‘you didn’t pass,” commented one X (formerly Twitter) user, while another added, “oh she’s definitely fired now haha.”

“I believe her, but now he is furious about leaking the news and is going to fire her,” argued a third internet user.

“This is worse than finding out you (sic) are on break,” someone pointed out, referring to how Cohen let “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Dorinda Medley know she wouldn’t be returning to that series.

As the “divisive” 14th edition of “RHONJ” aired earlier this year, Cohen revealed that the show would undergo a major cast change ahead of its upcoming season.

“Did you hear we’re making big changes to the show?” he told a radio show caller in July who called to complain about the plot.

“We are restarting the program,” he assured the critic, reiterating: “We are going to restart it. We will do something different.”

Interrupting the dissatisfied caller, who continued to complain, Cohen said: “Let’s see what we do. We’ll see. I don’t know. Maybe just new faces.”

The stars of the 14th season were Aydin, Giudice, Catania, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda, as well as “friends” Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.

Bravo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
