Drivers offered three-month return option with new stock Cupra Born EV

A new offer to entice EV-curious people into the driver’s seat of a new Cupra Born electric car gives them the option to return the car after three months.

Cupra UK’s ‘Love Me or Leave Me’ offer is now available to financed or outright buyers and if after three months the owner decides to return the vehicle, Cupra will return the deposit, subject to damage/excess mileage.

The scheme is offered on qualifying vehicles ordered from current Cupra stock. Consumers who purchase one but later decide it is not suitable for them must notify Cupra within 80-100 days of ownership that they wish to return it.

Marcus Gossen, UK director for Seat and Cupra, said: “It’s safe to say the new scheme is innovative and will give many drivers who have considered an electric car the impetus to make the leap.

“The Cupra Born is already a convincing proposition, bringing performance, great range, sporty style and an exceptional interior in a package that owners tell us they love. EV owned, they can return the keys after three months.”

To further support drivers in the transition to electric vehicles, Cupra has partnered with the UK’s leading energy supplier, OVO, to offer its electric vehicle owners up to 10,000 free miles when they add their Charge Anytime tariff to a plan. EGG energy.

Charge Anytime enables smart charging at home for just 7 cents per kWh, any time of the day or night.

Cupra has also teamed up with Ohme to offer a free home EV charger.

“Ohme is committed to ensuring that no driver is left behind in the transition to greater electric mobility,” said David Watson, chief executive of Ohme. “This is an exciting and innovative new scheme from Cupra and Ohme looks forward to continuing to work with them as their official home EV charging partner, as well as OVO to bring low-cost, low-CO2 EV motoring to more drivers.”
