VP Sara keeping a low profile, contemplating

MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte remains silent as she adopts a very low-key lifestyle, Senator Imee Marcos said during the Kapihan at the Senate forum on Thursday.

“Well, (Vice President) Sara, as we all know, is being very discreet. Umiiwas muna in nananahimik, nag iisip-isip, (at) nagmumuni-muni. Mabuti naman, syempre”, said Marcos simply.

((Vice President) Sara, as we all know, is being very discreet. Being silent, thinking (and) meditating. It’s good, of course.)

The senator’s brother, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr, previously lashed out at the vice president, saying he felt “deceived” by Duterte after the latter publicly denied having ever been friends with him despite their “UniTeam” set. in the 2022 Elections.

Senator Marcos, however, said it is not in his character to meddle in someone else’s conflict.

“Let them answer their own QL. Don’t drag me into this. When two friends disagree, you don’t use one to fight the other. Then you will trigger the other so that he cries more and more and his fight intensifies. I don’t do that.” she said.

In the same interview, the senator was asked whether or not she would push for the reversal of the Vice Presidency’s cut budget.

She said that senators have not yet discussed the matter because Senate sessions are suspended. She, however, noted that she hates being a bully of the oppressed.
