‘My apologies go out to everyone I hurt’

Landon Barker addressed rumors that he participated in a Diddy– themed birthday party that ignored the accusations of sexual assault against the rapper.

In a video posted via his TikTok account on Tuesday, October 15, the singer apologized and set the record straight.

“I would like to come here and apologize and address the fact that people are saying I had a themed birthday party,” Barker said in the video. “First of all, I didn’t have a birthday party. My birthday party is next week.”

Videos emerged last week that showed Barker, 21, attending a party that appeared to mock Diddy’s victims. This happened after the singer went to dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles with his father, the drummer for Blink-182. Travis Barkerand stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian.

Landon admitted that he ate at Nobu with his family to celebrate his birthday and then went out with friends. He explained that a club promoter invited the group to a party with the promise of table and bottle service.

Video later showed guests holding bottles of baby oil lit with alcohol, an apparent reference to the 1,000 bottles of baby oil that police took when they raided the rapper’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year.

In another video from that night, a DJ can be heard saying, “We’re going really crazy tonight. We’re driving Diddy crazy tonight.”

Landon explained that the club’s poor lighting prevented him from knowing what the bottles represented.

“Everyone’s saying, ‘Why didn’t you leave right away?’ That’s because I didn’t know what was happening right away,” he said. “It was a dark room and all I could really see was another table with flashing bottles being brought out. The bottles had flashing lights underneath them, then. I couldn’t make out what they were. I’m just thinking they’re bringing tequila with the bottle, I have no idea what’s going on right now.”

“I didn’t pick up the bottle once and I didn’t tolerate it,” he added. “I just went to a club to celebrate my birthday and ended up in a bad situation.”

Finally, Landon apologized to those he hurt by ending up in that situation.

“My apologies to everyone I hurt – this wasn’t my idea and I never wanted this to happen,” he told his followers.

A source said People last week that the footage was from another individual’s party and that Landon was unaware the bottles would be present.

“He, nor the owner, had any knowledge of the party’s theme, nor did they know that the waiters would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night to someone else,” the source said. “He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to participate.”
