Hyderabad Road Rage caught on camera Elderly man beaten by motorcyclist for asking to slow down dies

An elderly pedestrian in Hyderabad’s Alwal area died of severe head injuries on Thursday following a brutal attack by a motorcyclist. The incident, which occurred on September 30, was triggered after Anjaneyulu, 65, asked the motorcyclist to slow down while walking down the street.

Captured by CCTV, the footage shows the motorcyclist responding aggressively to Anjaneyulu’s request. The motorcyclist, who had a woman and a child accompanying him on the bike, parked the vehicle and physically assaulted Anjaneyulu. Despite the woman’s attempts to calm him down, the knight violently pushed the elderly man to the ground, while shocked spectators watched the attack unfold.

Anjaneyulu was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital by his family, but despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries on October 14. The severe head trauma suffered during the attack was fatal.

Following the incident, Alwal Police Station registered a case and arrested the motorcyclist. Authorities are conducting further investigation into the matter. The tragic death has raised concerns about rising road rage incidents and pedestrian safety.
